Hartsfield-Jackson airport in Atlanta is the busiest in the world with more than 76 million passengers passing through every year. But Friday morning it all came to a halt due to a toothbrush.
Hartsfield as well as Atlanta’s MARTA rail service, was shut down for more than half an hour when an electric toothbrush began vibrating in a passengers luggage.
Airport officials told Channel 2 Action News in Atlanta that the toothbrush was inside a bag checked onto an AirTran flight. Not knowing what was causing the noise, workers told airport security officers just to be safe.
The terminal was closed down while authorities investigated and MARTA suspended rail service to and from the airport, setting up a bus bridge between the airport and College Park stations.
When officials determined the cause of the noise just before 8:30, the terminal was reopened and MARTA resumed regular service.
No word on whether or not the toothbrush will make it to its final destination or spend the night in the slammer.

  1. The job title of a worker will also affect his or her yearly stipend in AK. Those who perform the duties of an army reserve physician assistant earn $52,000 on average.http://techniciansalary.net/dental-assistant-salary-in-alaska/
