Greetings Everyone,
We've had questions about our next North American/Global Dental Hygiene Research Conference. Due to the 100th Anniversary Celebration at this year's ADHA meeting in Boston, our next conference will not be until 2014.
I
wanted to share with you the information related to the ADHA Annual
Session and what we, the National Center for Dental Hygiene Research
& Practice, and ADHA have put together and will soon be posted on
the DHNet (http://www.usc.edu/dhnet).
The most critical piece of information is related to those of you who
may wish to submit an abstract for the Research Poster Session. We were
able to get the date for submission pushed back from mid-February to March 1st.
Below
is a copy of the information we will be posting on the DHNet and the
links to the registration page and to the poster session information.
ADHA CLL (Center for Life-long Learning) Research Track Continuing Education Programs
In collaboration with ADHA, we have identified CE courses for the CLL Research Track, which include:
•“Preparing a Successful Manuscript for Publication” by Rebecca Wilder, RDH, MS & Jacquelyn Fried, RDH, MS on June 20th, Thursday afternoon
•“Stats, Facts, Myths and Downright Lies” by JoAnn Gurenlian, RDH, PhD and Ann Spolarich, RDH, PhD on June 21, Friday morning
•"Good Evidence for Making Informed Treatment Decisions” by Cindy Amyot, RDH, EdD on June 21, Friday afternoon
Look for these courses as you register for the ADHA Annual Session:
Click on CE Courses on
the left side navigation area for the full listing of courses. Also,
early registration goes through February 15th so check it out now!
ADHA Research Poster Abstract Submission Information
In addition to CE courses, the ADHA Research Poster Session provides dental hygienists the opportunity to present their work, exchange ideas and share information. The deadline for submission of poster abstracts is March 1st

Good to see that technology is changing face of dental education and new aspirants are getting more chance to learn from dental forums, blogs and dental CE courses.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion it is better to go through CE courses because in many countries it plays important role in carry forwarding their license. Although while perusing online CE courses students can easily go through stiff dental surgeries with live video and reconsider their mistakes to enhance their skills.
very appreciative.
It was very informative and helpful
Thank You
