Abstract: There has long been an undercurrent within the dental profession of anti-amalgam sentiment, a “mercury-free” movement. To assess whether anything is or is not scientifically wrong with amalgam, one must look to the vast literature on exposure, toxicology, and risk assessment of mercury. The subject of risk assessment goes straight to the heart of the debate over whether amalgam is safe, or not, for unrestricted use in dentistry in the population at large.
The Common reasons for developing ECC is when an infant or toddler who used to drink sugary drinks before bed and fall asleep with a pacifier in his mouth. This may include juice, milk or sweet drinks other children, all of which can lead to dental caries in children, resulting in severe bottle-feeding syndrome. It should be noted by parents interested in keeping their children that this is a fairly common child care dental health threats that affect the age of 3 years old and small children.
